During a two-day session in the Oslo archipelago on the 11th and 12th of November, an updated version of the PrepareShips predictor system was put to test onboard the Motor Yacht @Sea. More specifically, the main focus of the tests was to evaluate the self-learning ability of the predictor system. A set of standard maneuvers including turning circles and zigzags as well as navigation along a pre-defined route was performed on the first day. The predictor system was then put in self-learning mode during the night and the same set of maneuvers were repeated on the second day with the improved predictor system model. The predictor system performed well and the self-learning ability of the system proved itself. In conclusion, a very successful test session. Thanks to everyone involved!
