Luis Sanchez-Heres works at RISE Research Institutes of Sweden, one of the partners in the Prepare Ships project. During the testing in August (week 33 and 34), Luis over looked the predictor installed in the ECDIS on the Motor Yacht @Sea. When it comes to the sensor data the conclusion is that the handling of this information needs to be refined.
– We need to implement filters to make the system less sensitive to small changes and noise. This is the first time we receive all the sensor data and it is clear that the predictor must handle it in a better way, says Luis
