PREPaRE Ships project tested today Lantmäteriets innovations of virtual RTK reference stations. At the same time, the ANavS antennas and sensor fusion were tested.
The virtual RTK reference station implies that the SWEPOS network is extended by virtual reference stations that can give locally high accuracy position corrections. These can cover more than 10km radius which was proven by today’s testing.
As the virtual reference station is virtual, no pictures shown of it, but instead pictures of the pilot boat used for the testing.
